Cars with immobilisers cannot be hot-wired.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Hood Locks<\/strong> \u2013 The hood lock prevents thieves from lifting the hood via the release lever and gaining access to your car\u2019s engine, battery and other components.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Electronic Car Alarms<\/strong> \u2013 Install those that come with kill switches and a blaring alarm for an effective solution.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>VIN Etching <\/strong>\u2013 By etching the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on the windows, your car will be unappealing to thieves.
